Food Recommendation in Brighton
Price range for a main: £ £5-10 | ££ about £10-12 | £££ £12-15 and above
There are a lot of things that can be said about Brighton but one is for sure; you’ll never lack choice when it comes to food! Thanks to its diverse population, Brighton is host to countless pubs, bars and restaurants of all sorts. As wonderful as it may sound, it can also be very confusing. Especially if you’re a little indecisive, like me. My friendship's group eternal question is, ok but where do you wanna go?
So, to save everyone some time, I created a list of restaurants I wanted to try during my time in Brighton. Throughout the years, the list has grown and some of these items will forever be a mystery to me but I’ve managed to try quite a few of those.

I tried categorising food by ethnicity because that is what made the most sense in my head and I hope it’ll help you too. Whenever I’m looking for a place to eat, I refer to this list and select depending on the mood I’m in which turned out to be super helpful. Some of those places are a fusion between two types of cuisine and I’m loosely putting these restaurants into boxes without considering culture properly. Hopefully, that’s ok with you. For brunch places, you’re more than welcome to have a look at my Brighton brunches guide. If you have any suggestions that you think should figure on this list, please DM me on Instagram or leave a comment here. I’d be more than happy to hear about what you think of those places so feel free to reach out when trying any of those places! Bon appétit!
